The DUCKOMENTA is the
World-Cultural-Duck-Heritage

Since 1986, the DUCKOMENTA has been on view at numerous international museums and comparable institutions.

The exhibition also offers visitors a unique way of experiencing cultural history through "reconstructions" of elements of said history featuring a mysterious clan of ducks, the "interDucks".

The duck clan abandoned planet in Earth in a hurry leaving their collection of art, the DUCKOMENTA, here. This poses a challenge to humans to discover and make sense of the manifold secrets that lie in each of the works of art.

The DUCKOMENTA is, on the one hand, a comprehensive, tongue-in-cheek exhibition of art that offers something for the whole family. It consists of high- quality works of art and is accompanied by numerous texts that are both amusing and enlightening. The show caters to all age groups.

What do we already know about them?

These ducks were our neighbours when humans were cave-dwellers, through all significant advanced ancient cultures, during the Middle Ages into modern times. They could be found on all continents, except the Antarctic. They interfered more frequently in human activities than is usually acknowledged.

So far as we can tell, the interDucks appear to have left planet Earth a few years ago. Scientific research is underway to learn more about these mysterious beings. The story continues
